About the position

The Business Applications Analyst role at Everus involves project management, implementation, integration, automation, and maintenance of company applications and ERP systems. The analyst will support the company's operations by providing guidance on business process redesign, developing training, and offering end-user support. This position is crucial for ensuring the effective use of technology in achieving the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Performs, troubleshoots, and documents data modeling, data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
  • Develops, maintains, and manages advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI and related technologies.
  • Assists with Microsoft SQL Server query work (building/troubleshooting) and index maintenance.
  • Collaborates directly with end-users and internal teams to gather business solution requirements, understand data needs, and provide analytical support for decision-making.
  • Gathers, cleans, and maintains data from various sources, including project management software, financial systems, and field reports.
  • Assists with auditing and validating data or processes.
  • Participates in end-user training and assistance in finding or utilizing information.
  • Participates in generation of comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders, including project managers and executives.
  • Stays current with updates, capabilities, and best practices for the tools used.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of technical concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
  • Two years' experience in a business analyst, data analyst or similar analytical role for Business Applications Analyst II.
  • Four years' experience in a business analyst, data analyst or similar analytical role for Business Applications Analyst III.
  • Seven years' experience in a business analyst, data analyst or similar analytical role for Business Applications Analyst IV.
