About the position

The Business Applications Manager will oversee the management of manufacturing applications, specifically focusing on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) systems. This role is primarily remote but requires periodic visits to the corporate office in Lansdowne, PA. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and other relevant technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize the utilization of ERP, WMS & CRM systems
  • Ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes within the ERP framework
  • Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP platforms to enhance system capabilities
  • Provide support for system configurations, customization, and user training
  • Lead and support IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions or enhancements
  • Implement and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes to facilitate efficient data exchange with external partners
  • Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse(s) to support analytics and reporting requirements
  • Leverage PowerBI and/or other business intelligence tools to create insightful dashboards and reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience managing, supporting, developing, and/or analyzing ERP or related applications
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Working knowledge of BarTender or similar label design software
  • Experience working with Scan Guns, Tablets, label printers and other equipment in support of manufacturing operations
  • Deep understanding of Core Business Processes: Lead to Quote, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Capable of critical thinking for unique and unusual situations
