About the position

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect with Workday Financials Certification to support an implementation project as a Solution Architect. This role involves designing and configuring financial solutions in Workday, supporting the client's financial processes, and advising on strategic decisions related to Workday Financials. The ideal candidate will have experience with Workday Financial Data Modeling and Financial Accounting, and will work collaboratively with multiple teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of Workday Financials to support the client's implementation.
• Work closely with internal and client teams to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and ensure alignment with financial best practices.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the client for key decisions on financial configuration.
• Provide day-to-day support for the client's financial team, acting as a primary contact for Workday Financials.

Requirements

• Workday Financials Certification: Required for this role.
• At least 2 years of experience with financial accounting configuration in Workday.
• At least 2 years of experience in data modeling within Workday Financials.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the public sector and familiarity with government financial requirements.
• Other Workday module experience or certifications are advantageous.
