About the position

The Business Banker is responsible for driving business sales and revenue growth by managing an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects. This role focuses on growing business deposits, loans, and operating revenue through cross-selling business products to both new and existing clients. The Business Banker serves as an expert resource for the branch team and plays a crucial role in achieving established production goals and financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs to develop and execute cash flow management plans for clients and prospects.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and prospects to maximize relationship opportunities.
  • Partner with the Commercial Banking Group and other teams to drive business production and increase revenue.
  • Demonstrate expertise with all business products and services.
  • Represent the bank within the community by participating in community and professional activities to enhance the bank's image.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study.
  • 5-7 years of directly related experience in Small Business Banking Sales or outside consultative business-to-business sales experience, or 10-12 years of work-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Banking lending processes and practices.
  • Experience selling to business clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Financial Services experience in business banking sales preferred.
