About the position

The Business Banking Center Manager III is responsible for leading a team to provide exceptional banking services to small business and consumer clients. This role emphasizes building relationships, achieving sales and service goals, and actively participating in community initiatives. The manager will train and coach staff, ensure compliance with banking regulations, and drive business growth through effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with and through others to build and maintain relationships.
  • Train and coach a successful sales team in the pursuit of small business and consumer clients.
  • Achieve specific sales and service goals by providing a full range of business banking services.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service.
  • Participate and represent the bank in the community, driving Work Perks Banking initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options.
  • Assist other departments as needed and build rapport with clients and associates.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of banking experience with external business development.
  • Valid driver's license and driving history that meets the Bank's driver standards.
  • Registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Treasury Management sales experience.
  • Consumer lending background and business lending experience.
  • Bilingual language skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of risk management.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
