The Business Banking Lending Product Risk - Insights & Reporting Analyst position supports Business Banking Lending Products by monthly reviewing risks and opportunities in the various Business Banking Lending Portfolios. This involves research and analysis of identified trends and presentation of findings to management. Responsible for reporting projects that gather and integrate data, performs in depth analysis, interprets results and develops actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company for customer and employee populations. Acquires data from multiple data sources in order to perform analysis and reporting. Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in data in order to provide answers to business questions as well as provide recommendations for action. Presents data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations so they activate upon them and make data driven decisions. Collaborates with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis. Measures and monitors results of applied recommendations and present adjustments. Ensures all data acquisition, sharing and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Support Business Banking Lending Products by reviewing risks and opportunities in various Business Banking Lending Portfolios on a monthly basis.
- Conduct research and analysis of identified trends and present findings to management.
- Manage reporting projects that gather and integrate data, performing in-depth analysis and interpreting results.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company for customer and employee populations.
- Acquire data from multiple sources to perform analysis and reporting.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data to provide answers to business questions and recommendations for action.
- Present data and analysis clearly and concisely to facilitate understanding and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis.
- Measure and monitor results of applied recommendations and present adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with company standards in data acquisition, sharing, and results of applied recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Four to five years of data analysis experience.
- Experience in SAS/SQL, Tableau, PowerBI or other BI tools for querying and data manipulation/transformation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret results for insights.
- Ability to data mine, analyze data, and present insights in a meaningful way.
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Senior Business unit management and project sponsors.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in business banking lending products is a plus.
