We are currently seeking an experienced Business Banking Portfolio Manager to join our Business Banking team, with consideration for candidates in both the Houston and Dallas markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, developing, and retaining new and existing clients, ensuring that we provide the highest level of customer service while managing a diverse portfolio of loan relationships. In this role, you will manage and service a portfolio of loan relationships, which includes spreading and analyzing financial statements, addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing, and conducting thorough credit analysis. You will also be responsible for monitoring credit performance and preparing loan presentations. Reporting on loan activities related to past dues, documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, portfolio profitability, and covenant compliance will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be tasked with expanding, building, and maintaining client relationships, ensuring that you provide exceptional service and support. Cross-selling other bank products will also be an essential part of your role, as you work to enhance the overall banking experience for our clients. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the team and the bank's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of loan relationships.
  • Spread and analyze financial statements, addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing, credit analysis, monitoring credit performance and loan presentations.
  • Report on loan activities related to past dues, documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, portfolio profitability, covenant compliance, etc.
  • Expand, build, and maintain client relationships, providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Cross sell other bank products.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' of directly related experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of credit training program preferred.
  • Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of credit analysis; spreading and analyzing financial statements; credit scoring; loan documentation.
  • Experience with bank loan and deposit systems.
