About the position

The Business Banking Portfolio Manager IV (PM IV) is responsible for effective credit administration, focusing on adherence to credit policies, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and ongoing portfolio maintenance. This role ensures strong portfolio performance and asset quality, independently addressing and developing strategies to resolve potential risks. The PM IV manages relationships with clients with total credit lines between $1MM and $10MM, particularly emphasizing larger and more complex relationships. The position requires a high degree of technical competency in credit analysis and involves regular interaction with senior management and various teams to discuss and resolve risk-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Protect and preserve the integrity of the portfolio while managing risk and the annual review process.
• Prepare annual reviews and credit requests, applying credit skills and industry analysis.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance requirements and accurately test covenants.
• Approve credit requests using Self Sanction Decision Tree Authority.
• Maintain high-quality credit file documentation in a paperless environment.
• Track and monitor financial statement requirements and review Borrowing Base certificates.
• Mentor junior colleagues and build relationships within the department and across business units.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial lending and portfolio management.
• High degree of technical competency in financial analysis and credit structuring.
• Practical and conceptual knowledge of credit and risk analysis.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
