About the position

The Business Change Management Manager at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is responsible for leading change management initiatives for various programs and projects. This role involves developing strategies and tools to enhance client engagement and adoption, ensuring that projects meet their objectives on time and within budget. The manager will work closely with the Business Change Management team and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transitions in technology and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide change management leadership for internal and external customer programs and projects.
• Develop and deliver strategies, tactics, frameworks, methods, and tools to achieve client business goals.
• Engage, coach, and support leadership at all levels for active sponsorship of change initiatives.
• Define and measure system adoption and project success metrics.
• Report on critical success factors and measurable benefits of deployed projects.
• Support the development of change management skills throughout the organization.
• Assess customer change management needs across the project portfolio.
• Minimize exposure and risk on projects and programs.
• Manage change management practitioners supporting the programs.
• Collaborate with project sponsors and teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Organizational Behavior, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of progressively responsible change management experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership experience.
• Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Change Management Professional certification.
• Change management certification (Prosci) or Project Management certification.
• Management consulting experience.
• Project management experience.
