About the position

The DSV Road Business Change Manager is a pivotal role focused on overseeing change projects and implementing system and business enhancements. This position is responsible for managing new changes and system implementations for mid-to-large scale projects within DSV Road, emphasizing change management initiatives and facilitation. The Business Change Manager will engage in defining business and technical requirements, collaborating with business users to capture use cases, workflows, and requirements, and mapping current and future state process flows. In this role, the Business Change Manager will successfully navigate the three phases of a change project: Preparing, Managing, and Reinforcing change. This involves developing change management strategies, communication and implementation plans, coaching and training plans, as well as managing resistance and corrective actions. The manager will serve as a liaison between various functional groups involved in new business startups, including IT, Engineering, and Operations, particularly for new customer implementations and complex IT projects. The position requires performing organizational and change assessments to prepare the project team for the expected impact of proposed changes. The Business Change Manager will utilize project management tools and concepts to manage various size projects, ensuring effective communication across different levels of the organization. Additionally, the role involves leveraging best practices in gathering and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements, supporting solution design and execution, and ensuring adequate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new capabilities and solutions. The Business Change Manager will independently prioritize projects and tasks to deliver value to the business, introduce best practices and process improvement ideas, and adhere to the country guidelines where the contract is signed. This position may also involve performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of DSV Road's change management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee change projects and system implementations for mid-to-large scale projects.
  • Manage the three phases of a change project: Preparing, Managing, and Reinforcing change.
  • Serve as a liaison between functional groups involved in new business startups.
  • Perform organizational and change assessments to prepare the project team for changes.
  • Utilize project management tools to manage various size projects and communicate effectively.
  • Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Support solution design and execution through collaboration with project, business, IT, and support teams.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope or schedule and assess their impact.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
  • Create and distribute necessary documentation such as Functional Requirements and Project Plans.
  • Ensure adequate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new capabilities and solutions.
  • Independently prioritize projects and tasks to deliver business value.
  • Introduce best practice and process improvement ideas as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience as a Change Consultant, Logistics Specialist, Business Analyst, or related field.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Prosci ADKAR change management certification ideal.
  • PMP certificate or equivalent training preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, reading, and communication skills in English required; Spanish preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with executive and cross-functional presentations and communication.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics/brokerage processes.
  • Familiarity with IT workflow tools including Jira and Confluence.
