About the position

The Business Change Manager at DSV Road is responsible for overseeing change projects and system implementations, focusing on enhancing business processes and ensuring successful project delivery. This role involves defining business and technical requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and managing change initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the three phases of a change project: Preparing, Managing, and Reinforcing change.
  • Act as a liaison between functional groups for new business startups and complex IT projects.
  • Conduct organizational and change assessments to prepare project teams for expected impacts.
  • Manage various size projects using project management tools and processes.
  • Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Support the design and execution of solutions by translating business requirements into system impacts.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope or schedule and assess their impact.
  • Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
  • Create and distribute necessary documentation including Functional and Business Requirements, Use Cases, and Training Material.
  • Ensure adequate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new capabilities and solutions.
  • Prioritize projects and tasks to deliver value to the business.
  • Introduce best practices and process improvement ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience as a Change Consultant, Logistics Specialist, Business Analyst, or related field.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Knowledge of industry standard best practices in change management and business analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prosci ADKAR change management certification.
  • PMP certificate or equivalent training preferred.
  • Spanish language skills.
