About the position

The Business Change Manager, Sr. - OneCare Kansas Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business transformation initiatives within Elevance Health. This position is designed for a strategic thinker who can work collaboratively with management to identify and implement a variety of projects, programs, and plans that align with both business unit and enterprise goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading efforts to identify potential issues, project changes, and scope, ensuring that all aspects of business change are effectively managed and communicated. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying best practices and developing processes and systems that support the evolving needs of the business. You will also be responsible for designing methods for integrating functions and processes across the organization, conducting thorough cost/benefit analyses to inform decision-making, and building support for business change initiatives throughout the business unit. Your ability to engage with impacted parties, business partners, and necessary resources will be crucial in ensuring the success of these initiatives. This position operates in a hybrid model, allowing for both remote and office work, and is ideally suited for candidates who reside within 50 miles of the Topeka, KS or Olathe, KS Elevance Health PulsePoint location. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope.
  • Leads efforts to identify best practices.
  • Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
  • Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
  • Designs methods for integrating function and process.
  • Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
  • Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 8 years process improvement, business change or project related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign strongly preferred.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
  • Program Management experience specific to comprehensive care management; care coordination; health promotions; transitional care; community supports and services is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Kansas community health care providers is strongly preferred.
