The Business Change Manager at Elevance Health will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's resilience by focusing on critical suppliers that are deemed too critical to fail. This position requires a strategic approach to identify and implement various projects, programs, and plans that align with the business unit and enterprise goals. The Business Change Manager will work closely with management to ensure that the necessary changes are effectively communicated and executed throughout the organization. In this role, the Business Change Manager will rigorously apply established tools, templates, and best practices to identify critical suppliers and conduct thorough cost/benefit analyses. They will be responsible for building support for business changes within the business unit and securing acknowledgment from stakeholders, business owners, and leadership regarding the classification of critical suppliers. The position also involves planning and conducting business continuity and disaster recovery program reviews for these suppliers, ensuring that all necessary documentation is secured to support a comprehensive review of risk and assurance. Additionally, the Business Change Manager will coordinate the evaluation of the critical supplier's cybersecurity posture, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans, as well as their technical and operational controls. They will work with the Strategic Sourcing team to initiate procurement and contracting activities that address risk mitigation and management in line with enterprise goals. The role requires the development of action plans with milestones for any vulnerabilities identified during reviews, and collaboration with Vendor Managers to ensure comprehensive risk analyses are performed whenever a critical supplier undergoes significant changes. The Business Change Manager will also serve as a key point of contact for cyber incident management and service disruption recovery strategies for critical suppliers, leading incident response functions in coordination with the Critical Incident Manager.
