About the position

The Business Change Manager at Elevance Health is responsible for collaborating with management and team members to implement various projects and programs that align with the business unit and enterprise goals. This role involves working closely with the Staff VP of Clinical and their leadership team to ensure efficient operations, utilizing data analysis tools and communication strategies to support business change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and interpret data using PowerBI, Workday, and other systems to inform decision-making.
  • Create visually appealing PowerPoint presentations and templates to communicate key messages and data insights.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to merge and compare large data sets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage and optimize collaborative tools like Teams to enhance productivity and maintain a repository of team artifacts.
  • Oversee governance of requests, ensuring completeness and tracking status and reporting.
  • Ensure effective communication and organization within the team.
  • Develop and maintain processes to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain a repository of documentation for operations.
  • Collect information from multiple stakeholders and synthesize it in an organized manner.
  • Identify potential issues, project charge, and scope.
  • Lead efforts to identify best practices.
  • Identify impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
  • Develop and design processes and systems that support business needs.
  • Design methods for integrating function and process.
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses.
  • Build support for business change throughout the business unit.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of process or project-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing and managing projects with significant operating budgets.
  • Knowledge of process redesign.
  • Healthcare background and/or behavioral health experience.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Teams skills.
  • Intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills.
