About the position

Simply Healthcare Plans, Inc. is a proud member of Elevance Health's family of brands. We are a licensed health maintenance organization with health plans for people enrolled in Medicaid and/or Medicare programs in Florida. The Business Change Manager is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs, and plans that support the achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. This position will report on-site at a Storefront located in Hialeah, FL, and the ideal candidate will live within a 50-mile radius and a 1-hour commute to our Elevance Health major office in Miami, FL. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. In this role, the Business Change Manager will identify potential issues, project charge, and scope. They will lead efforts to identify best practices and identify impacted parties, business partners, and resources required. The manager will develop and design processes and systems that support business needs, design methods for integrating function and process, and conduct cost/benefit analyses. Additionally, they will build support for business change throughout the business unit, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years process or project related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign is strongly preferred.
