About the position

The Business Continuity Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving technical recovery plans within a financial services company. This role is crucial for ensuring that the organization can effectively respond to disruptions and maintain operational continuity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business continuity and disaster recovery, particularly within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and govern business continuity activities.
  • Collaborate with teams to align application designs with recovery objectives.
  • Coordinate and test technical recovery plans.
  • Support recovery plan execution and service restoration.
  • Ensure employee training and plan updates.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge in Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
  • Knowledge and understanding of information technology in distributed computing environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making abilities.
  • 5+ years in the financial services industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate Business Continuity professional (ABCP) certification is a plus.
