About the position

The Business Controller role at Sandvik is a full-time position focused on driving growth strategy through active partnership with operations and business management. Reporting to the VP Sales Manager North America, this position is responsible for the Business Control function within a key territory, providing real-time support and analysis to assist in decision-making. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate financial data effectively, while also being involved in problem-solving across the business.

Responsibilities

• Follow up, analysis, and clear explanations regarding actual results, forecasts, and targets.
• Support profitability analysis.
• Preparation and validation of business cases and investment proposals.
• Drive improvements in reporting and forecasting accuracy.
• Consolidation and on-time reporting of actual, forecast, and target results.
• Joint responsibility with Financial Control for standardized reporting, forecast, and target processes.
• Support Performance Management process, including KPI development and implementation.
• Drive Net Working Capital efficiency and overall business performance.
• Provide tools for a standardized way of working within Business Control.
• Provide administration support of Finance IT tools in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years related experience in finance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience preferred.
• Experience in strategic planning and operations.
