Responsibilities

  • Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
  • Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation.
  • Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts.
  • Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews.
  • Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting.
  • Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews.
  • Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as Data Analyst, or similar role in financial services industry.
  • Demonstrating strong proficiency in utilizing data mining/analytics tools such as Toad, Teradata SQL Assistant, Microsoft SQL Server, and SAS.
  • Familiar with MS Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook/Access), Tableau.
  • Incumbents typically have over 8+ years of risk management and LOB/ECF experience.
  • Employees in this role typically have prior metrics development, data analytics, risk management and/or operations management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics).
  • Documented experience performing in a process-oriented environment that changes periodically.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, organize work, prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, successfully meet tight deadlines while ensuring data accuracy/integrity, and ability to work and execute with minimal supervision or remote management.
  • College degree (Associates or higher) or comparable work experience.
