About the position

The QC/QA Governance Tableau Reporting, Metrics, and Data Analytics Manager at Bank of America is responsible for overseeing data analytics and reporting that supports the Global Credit, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Onboarding Operations (GCAOO) Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) program. This role focuses on implementing QC/QA strategies across multiple lines of business, enhancing control monitoring, and driving process improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The incumbent will work closely with management and team members to produce performance results and analysis packages for senior management, while maintaining a culture of compliance and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
• Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying issues and control improvements for remediation.
• Leads the implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts.
• Manages the performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality inspection reviews.
• Ensures timely execution of QA activities including control execution, case management, and results reporting.
• Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews.
• Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant information is captured for inspection metrics to support governance for dashboard reporting.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as Data Analyst, or similar role in financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing data mining/analytics tools such as Toad, Teradata SQL Assistant, Microsoft SQL Server, and SAS.
• Familiar with MS Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook/Access), Tableau.
• Typically over 8+ years of risk management and LOB/ECF experience.
• Prior metrics development, data analytics, risk management and/or operations management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics).
• Documented experience performing in a process oriented environment that changes periodically.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment, organize work & prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, successfully meet tight deadlines while ensuring data accuracy/integrity, and ability to work and execute with minimal supervision or remote management.
• College degree (Associates or higher) or comparable work experience.
