About the position

The Business Data Analyst III at Kforce Inc. is responsible for delivering operational strategies and providing analytical insights to enhance service experiences and improve business performance. This role involves working cross-functionally within the Consumer Group to assess business performance, influence leadership decisions, and optimize customer experiences through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to deliver operational strategies and manage service experiences.
• Provide deep analytical insights to scale live services efficiently.
• Assess business performance and influence leadership decisions affecting customers.
• Identify areas of operational and experiential opportunity using data-driven insights and root cause analysis.
• Provide recommendations to subject-matter experts and partner with teams to optimize processes.
• Identify and help craft key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational effectiveness.
• Distill complex data into key storylines to create shared understanding and influence action.
• Amplify reporting insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in the analytics field.
• Experience as a business partner for senior leaders, comfortable distilling complex data into simple storylines.
• Excited to mentor team members and develop talent.
• Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau, and Excel; experience with programming languages including R or Python preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking.
• Ability to tell stories with data and educate effectively to motivate stakeholders to act on recommendations.
• Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Proactive and inquisitive learner, seeking opportunities for change that enhance the business.
