About the position

The Business Data Analyst role focuses on analyzing data within the banking sector, specifically in the CAP Market and Risk domain. The position requires strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories. The analyst will work closely with business and risk managers to ensure compliance and functional documentation is accurately captured.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis and mapping of End User Computing (EUC) applications.
• Collaborate with business and risk managers to understand EUCs and translate them into user stories and epics.
• Capture EUC metadata and other functional details for documentation purposes.
• Utilize Tableau for data visualization and SQL for data querying as part of the analysis process.
• Engage in stakeholder management and requirements gathering to ensure project alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in CAP Market/Risk domain.
• Intermediate level proficiency in Tableau and SQL.
• Strong functional knowledge and hands-on business/technical analysis experience in risk and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python or VBA for data analysis and automation.
