As a Business Development Account Manager for the Health Care Mid-West Region, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing customer relationships within the Medical Device market across the USA. This remote position requires you to actively identify new opportunities with both current and prospective customers by promoting and selling DuPont Healthcare solutions, which are essential for profitable business growth. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales and business development goals that align with our strategic objectives and marketing plans for Liveo. You will develop and nurture relationships with customers, prospects, key influencers, and decision-makers throughout the value chain. Your expertise will be vital in managing large multinational accounts as well as emerging players, where you will create account plans in collaboration with a cross-functional team to ensure long-term value creation and growth. You will also be tasked with managing a pipeline of business opportunities that align with our strategy to deliver growth in target segments. Identifying and developing solutions to address customer challenges will be key to generating new business opportunities and driving profitable revenue growth, all of which will be documented in Salesforce. Your ability to negotiate effectively on pricing, supply agreements, credit, and confidentiality agreements will be essential in this role. As a leader in sales excellence, you will inspire others and demonstrate a proactive approach to understanding and analyzing customer needs, industry trends, and business dynamics. Sharing valuable business, competitive, and industry intelligence with your DuPont counterparts in marketing, research and development, technical service, customer service, and leadership will promote increased revenue and value for the company. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing monthly sales forecasts and leveraging the full capabilities of DuPont to explore cross-industry or product opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales, business development goals and objectives in health care aligned with business strategies and marketing plans for Liveo
  • Develops and builds relationships with customers, prospects, key influencers and decision makers in value chain
  • Manage large multinationals accounts as well as emerging players with development of account plans with cross-functional account team to create long term value creation and growth
  • Develops new business with new customers
  • Manage a pipeline of business opportunities that are aligned with strategy to deliver growth in target segments
  • Identify, and develop solutions to solve customer problems resulting in new business opportunities and profitable revenue growth which will be documented in Salesforce
  • Effectively negotiate pricing, supply agreements, credit and CDA with customers
  • Demonstrates sales excellence and inspires excellence in others
  • Understands and proactively analyzes customer's product and service needs, industry, and business
  • Shares business, competitive and industry intelligence with Dupont counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service, leadership) to promote increased revenue and value
  • Provides sales forecasting on a monthly basis
  • Understand and utilize the full power of Dupont including cross industry or product opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering, Science or another related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Medical Device or adjacent Healthcare segments in sales, marketing, technical service or other relevant customer facing experiences
  • Strong technical background or process expertise in Medical Device is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work independently and strong team player
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and with customers
  • Positive oriented attitude and able to work well in demanding and fast-paced environments
  • Strong drive for results and a passion for customers
  • Use and knowledge of Salesforce helpful
  • Experience utilizing trade shows and other channels along with different conferences both educational and customer oriented
