About the position

The Business Development Analyst plays a crucial role in the LifeX Due Diligence Investment Team, focusing on investment opportunities within the LifeX Global organization and external entities seeking funding. This position involves managing the due diligence process, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the executive team in strategic planning and analysis to foster growth through investment vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the due diligence process and provide detailed packets to the investment committee.
• Participate in the development of new business by identifying funding opportunities and drafting programmatic budgets.
• Assist outside entities with due diligence as necessary.
• Seek potential investment opportunities for inclusion in the LifeX Global organization and its Accelerator programs.
• Collaborate with LifeX Global entities to ensure funding opportunities are available across the commercialization continuum.
• Participate in LifeX Accelerator and Portfolio Meetings as required.
• Act as the point of contact for investor relationships and work closely with the executive management team on strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or investment analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data gathering, organization, analysis, and Excel modeling.
