About the position

The Business Development and Sales Manager will lead the US sales team at Delta Capita, focusing on expanding the Structured Products, Derivatives, and Post Trade business. This role involves direct interaction with clients and stakeholders to implement the regional sales strategy, selling technology solutions and managed services to investment banking organizations. The position is crucial for regional growth and requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach to business development.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, manage, and close new business opportunities within US accounts for Structured Products, Derivatives, and Post Trade business.
  • Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels.
  • Act as the main point of contact for existing clients, managing relationships and driving renewal opportunities.
  • Understand each customer's business objectives and challenges to present Delta Capita's outcome-based solutions.
  • Document and manage dynamic account plans, including business requirements and competitive strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across the organization with all levels of seniority.
  • Work with the head of sales to develop a business plan and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Develop a 12-to-24-month pipeline of qualified incremental business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and managing client relationships.
  • Experience working in or with financial institutions focusing on structured products or derivatives middle office/operations.
  • Experience working for or closely with service providers to Financial Services customers.
  • Knowledge and experience of the sales lifecycle, including RFPs, contracts, proposals, and pricing.
  • Familiarity with key sales disciplines such as Salesforce, MEDDIC, unsolicited proposals, and partner leverage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, lengthy, and complex sales cycles.
  • Ability to manage net new business and develop existing business opportunities.
  • Interest and understanding of the financial industry sector, including market dynamics and competitive landscape.
