About the position

The Business Development / Call Center Representative position at Car City is a hybrid to remote role, allowing for minimal required in-office hours at our Car City 28th Street location after successful completion of training. This role is crucial in managing all incoming phone calls and internet leads, setting and confirming sales appointments, and performing long-term follow-up on all unsold customers, including internet leads, showroom visits, and incoming calls. The representative will be a key player in our Business Development Center (BDC), ensuring effective communication with customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication, whether it be phone, email, or text. In this role, you will be responsible for managing internet sales leads, phone leads, and chat leads, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and scheduling and confirming appointments for the Sales staff and other designated personnel. You will also follow up on electronic applications, handle all incoming calls, and route them to the correct departments. Additionally, assisting other departments as needed and performing other duties as assigned will be part of your responsibilities. This position requires a strong customer service background, preferably with call center experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
