About the position

The Business Development Capture Program Manager at Augusta University is responsible for leading the identification, capture, and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and grant-funded opportunities. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute strategic business plans, ensuring proposals are comprehensive and competitive, and aligning with the university's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and oversee Request for Proposals (RFPs) and grant-funded proposal opportunities, managing the end-to-end proposal process.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to determine procurement needs and identify business development capture opportunities.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals and provide guidance on business development processes.
• Capitalize on relationships with external stakeholders to enhance procurement opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
• Provide training and guidance to AU faculty and staff on business development capture opportunities and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and three years of applicable experience.
• High School, GED or equivalent with five years of related experience and two related industry certifications.

Nice-to-haves
