About the position

The Business Development Center Service Associate at Victorville Chevrolet is responsible for driving service business growth through effective communication and appointment scheduling. This role involves making outbound calls and handling inbound inquiries to promote services, products, and special promotions, ultimately aiming to enhance revenue for the service department. The associate will also maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collaborate with franchise partners to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Make inbound and outbound phone calls to promote service, promotions, and products.
  • Generate service appointments for franchises to increase revenue.
  • Record all customer interaction activity in the company's customer database system.
  • Write notes in a professional and grammatically correct manner with complete details.
  • Manage special tasks assigned by the BDC Service Manager to contribute to team success.
  • Provide daily, monthly, and quarterly progress updates to the BDC Service Manager.
  • Adapt to changing needs of BDC campaigns by given deadlines.
  • Apply applicable scripts within 24 hours of being provided by management.
  • Communicate effectively with service customers within established time frames.
  • Encourage customers to visit the dealership and schedule service appointments.

Requirements

  • Dependable with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Familiarity with CRM programs.
  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Goal-driven and motivated to provide high levels of customer service.
  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
  • 1 year of call center experience (preferred).
