As the Director of Business Development at GEODIS, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our aftermarket automotive sector. Your primary responsibility will be to meet or exceed new sales performance goals and objectives, ensuring that we not only attract new customers but also maintain and expand our current profitable customer base. You will be tasked with organizing, planning, executing, and producing the sales and marketing functions related to our warehousing, transportation (both international and domestic), and brokerage services. This is crucial in supporting the company's overarching corporate mission and goals. In this role, you will interface with various departments, including Operations, Customer Service, and Project Management, to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow. Your insights and contributions will be invaluable as you provide marketing and competitive information as a key member of the sales team. The position requires a significant commitment to travel, with expectations of up to 50% travel to meet clients and explore new business opportunities.
