About the position

The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving business growth in the US market, leveraging a deep understanding of the industry and existing contacts to build new relationships and enhance existing ones. This role involves identifying business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and achieving business targets while acting as an AI and tech evangelist. The director will work closely with customers to establish trust and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential customers, including tier-1 and 2 as well as emerging companies
  • Meet or surpass sales goals and objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and best practices
  • Work collaboratively with other departments in the company to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution sales and business development
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Existing network in the US Commercial industry (i.e. Retail, Edtech, Consumer products, Freight and logistics, and Financial Services)
