We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Business Development Director on our Health Solution team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, recommend, and implement various strategies to expand VeriCre's market penetration and data comprehensiveness resulting in additional pipeline growth and data expansion.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated 'One AMA' Account Plan for each current and potential partner.
  • Identify customer strategies and initiatives, key customer contacts, engagement plans, and provide an overall roadmap to bring value to AMA and our customers.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to internal and external senior management.
  • Build relationships with external collaborators to advance VeriCre's adoption, brand recognition and leadership position in the market.
  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities and channel partner strategies.
  • Accurately forecast HS revenue to senior management.
  • Document opportunities in Salesforce in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate contracts with industry stakeholders and potential product users.
  • Represent the Voice of the Customer to the AMA, serving as a central point of contact for assigned customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health-related field or business required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of business development experience in healthcare services.
  • Management experience in healthcare services, content and/or technology.
  • Experience with credentialing and/or physician data and tools is desired.
  • Experience in developing and expanding relationships with industry partners.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and successful utilization of professional sales processes such as strategic selling or consultative sales practices.
  • Experience managing complex, strategic accounts and interacting with the C-suite of healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building business cases using fact-based market research.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, critical thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office products and SalesForce.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule with occasional travel.
