About the position

The Business Development Events Manager will oversee and enhance a series of networking events aimed at fostering connections among industry professionals. This role is pivotal in aligning these events with business objectives and ensuring they contribute to measurable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute monthly networking events across multiple markets, collaborating with local leadership to identify ideal dates, venues, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Manage logistics such as venue booking, registration page setup, and email marketing coordination.
• Create tailored marketing materials, including social media graphics and promotional content.
• Develop and manage event sponsorship relationships to enhance event offerings and ensure proper representation.
• Train and motivate local teams to view events as key business development tools.
• Empower employees to actively promote events and personally invite potential attendees.
• Provide on-site mentorship and support to ensure events are executed effectively.
• Prepare event teams through training sessions focused on event logistics and attendee engagement.
• Oversee event execution to ensure a seamless and professional experience for attendees.
• Facilitate after-action reviews with local teams to assess successes and areas for improvement.
• Analyze event data and feedback to optimize future events and enhance impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning, business development, or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
• Willingness to travel to support events and provide on-site guidance.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with event management tools and CRM platforms.
