About the position

The Business Development Executive at Haworth is responsible for driving market share growth by identifying and securing new sales opportunities from target accounts and existing clients. This role involves developing effective strategies to manage and grow revenue, executing business plans to meet sales quotas, and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the Dallas area.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic relationship and business developer focused on increasing market share.
  • Identify and secure new sales from competitively held target accounts and existing accounts.
  • Develop effective strategies for managing and growing revenue.
  • Execute business plans to fill the sales funnel for meeting quota and product mix goals.
  • Meet financial sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, marketing, communication, or equivalent.
  • 3 years' experience in consultative B2B, solution-based sales role with a proven track record of generating revenue and meeting sales targets.
  • Proven history of sales success in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to provide sales coverage for Dallas, TX without relocation assistance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in contract office furniture or a closely related field.
