About the position

The Business Development Executive for Home Health & Hospice is responsible for expanding referral networks and driving patient volume through established relationships with key healthcare providers. This role focuses on building community partnerships to support the organization's mission of delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the home health or hospice sector, particularly within the DFW area, and will play a crucial role in promoting services and ensuring smooth transitions for referred patients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new referral opportunities by leveraging existing relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, SNFs, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain and grow existing referral relationships to increase patient volume.
• Promote home health and hospice services aligned with regulatory requirements and the organization's mission.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure smooth transitions and delivery of services to referred patients.
• Attend community events, healthcare conferences, and other networking opportunities to increase visibility and build partnerships.

Requirements

• Must currently work in home health or hospice with direct involvement in business development, marketing, or referral management.
• Existing connections with key referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and healthcare networks.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, especially with healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to meet referral and growth targets through effective networking and relationship management.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads and manage referral networks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
