About the position

Avanade is seeking a Business Development Executive for the South Region, focusing on Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) accounts. This role is designed for a self-starter who excels in developing and winning new business in a complex consulting environment, particularly in digital transformation and consulting services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying high-potential deals, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high potential transformation deals and lead the entire sales cycle.
  • Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting and developing new business with direct clients.
  • Work closely with partners to drive new business opportunities.
  • Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
  • Interact with new and current clients to gain referrals and form strong trust relationships.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and service offerings.

Requirements

  • Experience selling across multiple Microsoft Solution areas, preferably in consulting engagements.
  • Experience with Microsoft and other partners to grow their book of business.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and apply effective solutions to remove roadblocks.
  • Proven success as a Business Development Hunter with sophisticated closure capabilities.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing client business needs.
  • Experience driving sales in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.
