About the position

The Business Development Executive is a sales-focused role responsible for driving new business and managing key accounts in the title insurance sector. This position requires a valid New Jersey Title Producer's License and involves soliciting business from various stakeholders, including attorneys and real estate agents. The role may involve remote, hybrid, or in-office work, with expectations to check in at regional offices regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with existing key accounts and develop new business.
  • Solicit commercial and residential title insurance business from attorneys, real estate agents, new construction executives, and banking/lenders.
  • Leverage corporate relationships and private investors to identify potential title insurance leads.
  • Develop a book of business and manage workflow in delivering title clearing services.
  • Entertain key accounts as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or higher desired; JD a plus.
  • Valid New Jersey Title Producer's License required.
  • At least five years of experience in title insurance.
  • Ability to sell title insurance and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years of commercial title experience.
  • Real-Estate Attorney licensed in New Jersey.
