About the position

The Business Development Executive at Imperative Chemical Partners is responsible for fostering relationships with current and prospective customers to drive sales of specialty chemical products in the oil and gas sector. This role is crucial for winning new business and ensuring a smooth transition to the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry and will engage in various activities to support business development and operations staff recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute business development processes effectively.
  • Facilitate regular conversations with operations and business development personnel to develop targets in areas of current operations.
  • Play an active role in developing strategy for key account execution, new customer expansion, and current customer retention.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers and operations personnel to answer questions and resolve issues.
  • Develop meaningful relationships at various levels of corporate and field staff of E&P companies to create opportunities to provide chemical solutions.
  • Maintain awareness for further sales opportunities and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast on industry trends and customer activity.
  • Effectively represent Imperative at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Positively contribute to the improved awareness of Imperative Chemical Partners' name and image within the oil and gas industry.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Acceptable driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Customer Service Skills.
