The Business Development Lead for Monetization Product Partnerships will play a crucial role in expanding product partnerships and technical solutions that enhance the effectiveness of TikTok's advertising platform, ultimately driving business growth. This position is essential for bridging the technologies that businesses use to manage their operations with TikTok, enabling them to reach both new and existing customers more efficiently. As a Business Development Lead, you will focus on identifying and establishing new business opportunities that enhance a brand's ability to invest in TikTok Ads. The role requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders, including product, strategy, legal, partner activation/enablement, and marketing teams, to unlock innovative ways to achieve success on TikTok. The team operates with a start-up mentality, characterized by entrepreneurial spirit and a forward-thinking approach. You will be responsible for sourcing, prioritizing, and establishing opportunities with new industry channels and growing partner segments, managing the full procurement and contracting phases, and overseeing core operations for partner development efforts. Additionally, you will conceptualize and pitch growth program opportunities for partners in evolving digital verticals such as travel, retail, and delivery, empowering brands to expand their business on TikTok.

Responsibilities

  • Source, prioritize and establish opportunities with new industry channels and growing partner segments.
  • Manage full procurement and contracting phases, including coordination with internal teams for product fit, impact potential and priority.
  • Manage core operations for partner development efforts, including annual planning, OKRs, ongoing reporting and contract work, proactively resolving business issues.
  • Conceptualize and pitch growth program opportunities for partners in evolving digital verticals (e.g., travel, retail, delivery), empowering brands to grow their business on TikTok.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of client-facing experience in partnerships and business development.
  • Experience sourcing new business opportunities in a fast-paced technical environment and as part of an international team.
  • Experience with performance marketing and deep understanding of industry standards.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
  • Quantitative and analytical expertise.
  • Incredibly organized and process-oriented.
  • Strategic thinker who enjoys executing and rolling up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment with evolving priorities.
