About the position

The Business Development Manager 3 position at BCforward is a contract role based in Redmond, WA, with a focus on supporting the VP in day-to-day team management and overseeing essential team activities. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual who can work remotely during PST hours. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible, and the expected duration of the contract is 18 months. The pay range for this position is between $38.00 and $40.00 per hour, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities. In this role, the Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with the VP to understand their requirements and priorities, manage business needs related to hiring, and coordinate job descriptions with administrative staff. The manager will also assist recruiters by reviewing resumes and coordinating interviewers, handle budget-related tasks for the team, and address offsite requirements. Engaging with the team to assess their needs and bridging communication gaps between the team and the VP are also key responsibilities. The manager will track the progress of projects within the team and work closely with the team's Admin and Chief of Staff (CoS) to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, motivated, and capable of working independently while demonstrating initiative and drive. They should be tech-savvy, able to adapt quickly to new tools and systems, and possess effective communication and collaboration skills. The role requires the ability to multitask efficiently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize responsibilities effectively. A background in client experience is a plus, as is familiarity with business and management principles, strategic planning, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the VP in day-to-day team management and oversee essential team activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or relevant field required.
  • 5-7 years of overall experience in the field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience with collaboration across teams.
  • 5+ years of experience working on multiple projects at the same time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with client ecosystem and leveraging previous knowledge for seamless integration.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
