About the position

The Business Development Manager for Accessories is responsible for driving sales and building relationships within the Bags & Accessories market. This role involves understanding local market trends, creating long-term customer relationships, and collaborating with various teams to ensure product alignment with client expectations. The position offers flexibility in work type, including full-time, part-time, and contract options, and is focused on achieving sales targets while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to identify local target customers in the Bags & Accessories market.
  • Understand local market trends and customer needs for Bags & Accessories.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with customers.
  • Recommend fashionable styles of Bags & Accessories to meet sales plans.
  • Handle inquiries from existing clients and new business customers efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure product design and development meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate customer and project files, including status reports and sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Development Management in the Bags & Accessories industry or a similar sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of products and industry trends.
  • A broad network of working relationships to source business information and customers.
  • Sales-focused with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet quarterly and annual sales and margin targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent administration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and good PC skills (Excel, Word, PPT).
  • College graduate or above, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
