About the position

The Business Development Manager/Account Manager at Innolux USA Inc. is responsible for driving growth in the LCD display and solutions business across North America. This role combines account management and business development, focusing on building strong relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the effective delivery of products and solutions. The position requires strategic sales initiatives and collaboration with internal teams to meet customer needs and enhance satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between customers, plants, and affiliate personnel to manage and negotiate commercial issues.
  • Coordinate and support all program activities from initial product concept to product end-of-life.
  • Review request for quotation (RFQ) materials and collaborate with internal departments to proceed with the quote process.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market and competitor analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy of accounts receivable information and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Identify and acquire new growth opportunities in both new and existing accounts.
  • Pursue new business based on leads from various sources including trade shows and corporate headquarters.
  • Form strategic partnerships to open new opportunities and markets.
  • Interact with executives and business line managers to develop strategies for new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in LCD display business development or account management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to create analysis reports and case studies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience as an OEM or Tier 1 supplier account manager (preferably in infotainment or display).
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
