The Business Development Manager - Americas Antitrust at White & Case will play a pivotal role in driving the business strategy and priorities of the practice area. As part of the Business Development, Marketing & Knowledge Team, the manager will contribute to the firm's vision of achieving profitable growth and fostering outstanding client relationships. The team is dedicated to building and nurturing relationships with a diverse range of clients, from established institutions to startups and government entities. The manager will be expected to understand the commercial drivers affecting both the firm and its clients, leveraging the firm's history and expertise to navigate complex environments effectively. The role requires a proactive approach to business development, including leading pitches, proposals, and RFPs, while also enhancing the business development skills of the practice's lawyers. The manager will devise and implement targeting and cross-selling initiatives, assist in onboarding new partners, and engage in various ad hoc projects as needed. Additionally, the position involves working closely with the firm's communications team to enhance the practice group's profile through integrated marketing campaigns and submissions for legal directories. In terms of practice development, the manager will oversee the quality of information used for pitches and proposals, conduct audits of credentials and website content, and support the Senior Manager in organizing monthly meetings. The role also includes identifying and assessing event opportunities to maximize the firm's visibility and engagement in the market.
