This position is responsible for developing the business and selling products for Shamrock Foods to hotels, restaurants, resorts, and institutional establishments or individuals at the sales office or customer's place of business. The role involves working closely with the sales team to proactively identify, qualify, and acquire new and lost business opportunities. The candidate will be expected to prospect and develop profitable new and lost customers using a systematic approach that includes customer potential and stratification. The successful candidate will develop and maintain ongoing working relationships with Distribution Sales Representatives (DSR), District Sales Managers (DSM), Regional Sales Managers (RSM), and customers. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic Business Development sales plan to achieve company goals. This includes consulting with customers to identify and define their business needs, determining a solution, developing a Return on Investment (ROI) proposal presentation for customer review and acceptance, and identifying a DSR to eventually service the customer. Additionally, the position requires performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs, which may include working flexible hours to accommodate the demands of the department, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
