About the position

The Business Development Manager at Click Therapeutics is responsible for generating and qualifying requests for proposals (RFPs) with pharmaceutical companies to create software-enhanced dosage forms of their drugs. This role involves building and maintaining a pipeline of business development opportunities, networking with key decision-makers, and collaborating with marketing and business development teams to align strategies and refine product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Identify decision-makers within target markets for RFP generation.
  • Qualify leads to assess needs and business potential.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with prospects in the CRM.
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of BD opportunities with pharma.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop strategies for growing the software-enhanced drugs RFP pipeline.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, webinars, and industry meetups to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential partners and customers.
  • Align RFP generation activities with the company's overall marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate with the BD team to transition qualified RFPs smoothly and effectively.
  • Share market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to help refine product offerings and messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences industry required.
  • Proven experience in a similar RFP generation, pre-sales, or business development role.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and pipeline development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
