The Business Development Manager - Data Centers will be primarily focused on developing new business within the multi-tenant Data Center vertical market. This role is entirely dedicated to business development, requiring the individual to sell a diverse suite of products that includes Network Cabling, Data Center, and Network Hardware Solutions. The successful candidate will also manage all support functions that are essential to sales productivity. These functions encompass planning, reporting, customer and account management, sales process optimization, sales job design, adherence to sales programs, and achieving the revenue goals set by management. In this position, the individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and cultivating new business opportunities to maximize ADI's presence and market share in the multi-tenant Data Center vertical market. Building key customer relationships is crucial, as is defining and executing a sales and growth strategy that aligns with critical sales business objectives. The role requires active engagement with ADI supplier partners to develop a national go-to-market strategy. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will prepare and conduct presentations on ADI's Datacom products and services to prospective customers, delivering a compelling value proposition that highlights the features and benefits relevant to customer needs. The individual will manage all aspects of engagements with new customers for the Datacom Team, acting as an escalation point and advocate for critical customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction and client retention. Supporting the national sales team as a Data Center subject matter expert is also a key responsibility, demonstrating market knowledge and identifying competitive opportunities. The role emphasizes driving continuous improvement and leading change within a premier Sales Organization.
