About the position

The Business Development Manager position at Tadich Sales Recruiters involves overseeing sales operations for a top electrical supply company in the Nashville area. The role focuses on maximizing net profit, developing strategic plans for market growth, and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers. The manager will supervise multiple branches and work closely with sales representatives to drive business success in the Comm Data market.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement programs to maximize net profit and return sales.
  • Oversee preparation of large branch budgets and monitor actual performances to ensure branch activities meet objectives.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure long-term market share profitability growth.
  • Supervise four branches located in Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Clarksville.
  • Work with sales representatives in the branches and be involved in the sales process.
  • Develop business plans that support the Comm Data market within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Must have experience in comm data, low voltage, security audio visual, or related electrical sales and management.
  • Product line knowledge including electrical fiber optic cable, lighting & power products, metal conduit & wiring products, voice products, Belden solutions, and data comm tools is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of industrial sales management experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial, electrical, and distributor sales is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in distribution sales is preferred.
