About The Position
The Business Development Manager, Domestic Accounts is a pivotal role within the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive ‘go to market' sales strategy aimed at driving revenue growth and enhancing business development opportunities. This position is integral to supporting the strategic goals of NKBA membership, member engagement, and certification. The manager will promote a suite of NKBA initiatives, which include corporate memberships, sponsorships, digital and print advertising, and certifications, among others. In this role, the Business Development Manager will enhance business development opportunities by executing a well-defined outbound sales strategy. The manager will be tasked with expanding the business development initiative as a significant revenue driver for NKBA, creating innovative ways to package and present products and services that align with the needs of the Association and its corporate sponsors. This includes promoting and selling a diverse portfolio of programs and services to corporate members, building and maintaining relationships with key corporate members, and identifying new membership prospects. The manager will also develop corporate sponsorship outreach opportunities for various initiatives, including KBIS, Thought Leadership Summits, webinars, educational programming, and other relevant events. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the preparation of the sales and revenue budget, utilizing Salesforce to document sales calls, maintain pipeline information, and generate necessary metrics. The position requires active participation in learning and development opportunities to foster both personal and professional growth, while also attending key events such as KBIS.
