About the position

The Business Development Manager at ESP Atlantic Energy Partners is a pivotal role focused on driving sales and expanding market presence within the Permian Basin. This position requires a proactive approach to identify new sales opportunities and develop account-specific strategies that align with the company's goals for market share and profitability. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong skill set in customer solution sales, adeptly uncovering customer pain points and providing tailored solutions to manage or eliminate these challenges. In this role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating and executing cross-divisional strategies that promote comprehensive service packages. This includes generating detailed customer call reports and outlining the outcomes of customer meetings to ensure effective follow-up and relationship management. Building and establishing relationships with key decision-makers is crucial, as the manager will need to develop strategies that assist customers in achieving their high-level goals while addressing their specific challenges. The position also involves closing new business deals by actively pursuing leads, negotiating pricing, and fostering repeat order relationships. To enhance the company's offerings and maintain a competitive edge, the manager will conduct customer feedback surveys and gather competitor intelligence. A thorough understanding of the company's core products and services is essential, as is the ability to collaborate closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams to support customer needs and generate additional business opportunities. Participation in trade shows and local events is also expected, along with the development and delivery of impactful sales presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales opportunities within the Permian Basin.
  • Develop account-specific strategies to capture market share and profitability.
  • Provide customer solution sales by uncovering customer pain points and offering solutions.
  • Create customer call reports and outline customer meetings.
  • Build and establish relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Close new business deals by chasing leads and negotiating prices.
  • Perform customer feedback surveys to enhance product and service offerings.
  • Gather and utilize competitor intelligence to strengthen market position.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Reynolds' products and services.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and engineering teams to support customers.
  • Participate in trade shows and regional events as required.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University (preferred).
  • 2+ years of relevant sales account management experience.
  • 2-5 years of sales account management in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred).
  • Experience in selling Electrical Submersible Pump Equipment and Production equipment (preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM Software.
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Midland, TX.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Submersible Pump Equipment.
