About the position

The Business Development Manager (BDM) at Allergan Aesthetics will play a pivotal role in representing the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio, which includes renowned injectables such as Botox, Juvéderm, and Kybella. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who will engage with targeted aesthetic customers within a designated geographical area, focusing on creating product acceptance and driving portfolio growth through strategic business development activities. The BDM will utilize their technical product and procedure expertise to differentiate Allergan's offerings from competitors, ensuring that assigned sales goals are met through innovative and consultative selling techniques aligned with the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan. In this role, the BDM will leverage Allergan Medical resources to enhance the adoption of the Facial Aesthetics Portfolio. This includes synergistic collaboration with other Allergan sales personnel and support teams across various specialties, such as breast aesthetics, neurology, and medical dermatology. The BDM will be responsible for managing field assets and resources effectively, which encompasses expense management and the utilization of allocated equipment. Compliance with reporting requirements and adherence to company policies will also be critical components of this position. Responsibilities

  • Represent the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio to targeted aesthetic customers.
  • Create product acceptance and enhance portfolio growth through business development activities.
  • Provide technical product and procedure expertise as well as competitive product differentiation.
  • Achieve assigned sales goals through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan.
  • Leverage Allergan Medical resources to enhance adoption of the Facial Aesthetics Portfolio.
  • Coordinate activities with other Allergan sales personnel and support teams.
  • Comply with required reports, requests, and compliance policies.
  • Effectively manage field assets and resources, including expense management and allocated equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 to 5 years successful medical sales/practice management experience.
  • 7 to 10 years business experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of the inner workings of a physician's practice.
  • Valid driver's license.
