This position will cover a territory that includes North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The Business Development Manager will manage and develop relationships with customers and prospects within the assigned territory at different levels to improve customer satisfaction, protect and maximize revenue opportunities, and minimize asset risk. The candidate must be located near an airport to support the territory. The role involves overall responsibility for profitability and managing the commercial terms of contracts with customers to ensure revenue is collected and program costs are understood. The Business Development Manager will implement territory and account plans, create and manage a sales funnel based on the account portfolio, and maintain continuity of business to ensure accounts remain profitable. The position requires establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, and working closely with strategic account managers to implement account plans for strategic customers. The role also includes recognizing training needs within the supply chain and establishing CHEP as the primary contact for asset control and commercial initiatives. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for delivering revenue budgets, building solid relationships with accounts, developing sustainable and profitable growth, and improving the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of the territory in line with Brambles targets. The position requires effective prioritization of multiple internal groups, effective communication with office-based teams, and increasing time spent with customers while minimizing travel costs. The candidate will also initiate issue resolution activities on behalf of customers and implement commercial decisions in line with Brambles' approval matrix.
