Seven Seas Water Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Florida. This role is pivotal in developing, securing, and managing long-term Water-as-a-Service (WaaS) contracts in new municipal and industrial markets throughout the state of Florida, with potential expansion into other Southeast markets as determined by the Chief Commercial Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current assets and future projects that could benefit from our water and wastewater treatment systems, which are sold under the WaaS business model. This includes engaging with potential clients to promote the SSW Group's WaaS approach and creating a strategic advantage for our company. The Business Development Manager will need to identify key decision-makers within municipal and industrial organizations and develop appropriate strategies to engage them. Familiarity with state legislation that allows public entities to execute long-term contracts is essential. The role requires acting as the primary client contact during the project development period, ensuring that the SSW Group maintains a strategic advantage throughout the process. Coordination with the SSW Group's business development team, engineering, finance, and legal departments will be necessary to develop comprehensive project proposals that meet client needs. This position demands a driven individual with a strong sales background, particularly in the water, wastewater, and desalination industries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and will be adept at developing project-specific business development strategies. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in the MS Office suite are also required, along with the ability to travel throughout the designated territory.
